As you hike the Coon Rapids Loop, you'll discover a gorgeous wooded oasis along the Mississippi River. The trail winds through mature trees and restored prairie sections, where you might spot vibrant purple asters. A unique highlight is walking directly across the historic Coon Rapids Dam, offering distinctive views of the river and a chance to see wildlife like ospreys.
