What to expect on Mississippi River Greenway and Schaar's Bluff Loop
On this trail, you'll experience diverse scenery, winding through dense woods and open prairie. You'll find stunning views of the Mississippi River Valley, especially from Schaar's Bluff and Spring Lake Overlook. The wooded sections offer periodic glimpses of the river, while the prairie can be vibrant with colorful flowers at certain times of the year. You might even spot some wildlife in the mature woods.
